See Iodine.

If you think you have low Thyroid (Hypothyroidism), you should order an IODINE Test kit.

Sub Clinical Hypothyroidism is real condition. It occurs when you have many of the symptoms listed below, but your
Thyroid Blood test are normal. The TSH alone, is not an accurate indicator of Thyroid status.

Low Iodine caused by excess accumulation of Fluoride can cause many health conditions from Acid Reflux to
Cancer. Click on
Iodine for more information. Low Thyroid affects more women then men.

Since Fluoride increases the absorption of Lead, Aluminum, Copper and other Toxic Metals, you should order a
Hair Mineral Analysis Kit. It can detect Nutritional Deficiencies and Toxic Metals.

Fluoride in our drinking water, food, air, Teflon cookware, etc is the  major cause of LOW THYROID FUNCTION in America.

The Thyroid is considered a  Master Gland and interacts directly or indirectly with other glands in our body. See the interaction chart at the
bottom of this page.

As you probably know, the Thyroid Gland controls Temperature, Metabolism and more. Hypothyroidism can result in weight gain, low body
temperature, allergies, fatigue, skin problems, sleeping too much, slow heart rate, painful premenstrual periods, muscle weakness, muscle
cramps, dry or scaly skin, body pain, increase in cholesterol, etc.

Some of the Risk Factors associated with Sub-Clinical Hypothyroid is Cardiovascular disease, Diabetes, Arthritis (inflammation), Neurological
(Parkinson's  disease, Hearing loss, Anxiety, Depression), etc

                                                    Causative Factors in Thyroid Disorders

There are a range of circumstance that can cause the thyroid to no longer function normally.
  • Our Fluoride laced City water Supply alone with Chlorine and a myriad of other water treatment chemicals are Major Factors in low
    Thyroid Function
  • Deficiencies in iodine, ‘B’ vitamins, macro and trace minerals, the amino acid, tyrosine, possibly taurine and glutamine and Vitamins A-C-
    E in hyperthyroid.
  • Soy isoflavones (found in most soy products) - are potent thyroid inhibitors
  • Raw brassicas - broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, Brussels sprouts
  • Agricultural spray residues and added chemicals on and in food
  • Antibodies formed from inflammation caused by viruses, bacteria, yeast, flukes, and parasites which can cause auto-immune activity
    that ultimately destroys thyroid tissues.
  • Medical mutilation; i.e.. Surgery, RAI [radio-active iodine], suppressive drugs
  • Many drugs, including synthetic thyroid, suppress thyroid function
  • Radiation from nuclear plants, high power lines, microwaves, TV’s, computers,  water beds, electric blankets, some electrical
    appliances, all affect thyroid.
  • Endotoxins from Candida (79 distinct toxins), toxic intestines, IBS, leaky gut.
  • Candida induces a 2000% increase in IgE antibodies resulting in allergies, fatigue, and many common symptom complexes which may
be misconstrued as emotional or depressive.
  • Heavy metals such as mercury (amalgam tooth fillings), cadmium, iron, etc.

Antibodies formed from inflammation, caused by viruses, bacteria, yeast, flukes, and parasites which can cause auto-immune activity that
ultimately destroys thyroid tissues. Electric blankets, some electrical appliances, all affect thyroid.

Estrogen Dominance suppresses thyroid function and predisposes one to cancer.

A score of
20-40 suggests mild hypothyroidism; 40-70 suggests moderate hypothyroidism; and over 70 suggests significant hypothyroid
These hypothyroid problems may not be thyroid disease, but part of the Hidden Hypothyroid Epidemic - a common consequence of Adrenal
Fatigue Syndrome.

Ask your doctor to do a Thyroid Hormone Panel, TSH, Free T3 & T4, Thyroid Antibody and Parathyroid Hormone test.

Adrenal test:  A simple in-home test.

Simple Thyroid Test You Can Do At Home
Thyroid Test:   Your body temperature should be 98.6 degrees. Test your body temperature before you get out of bed, at 9AM, 1PM & 3PM for a
week. Your average Temp should be above 98.2. Keep a record. If your body temp is lower than 97.4 degrees ask your doctor to check your
Thyroid Gland. Women should test when they are not on their cycle.

Another test of your Thyroid Gland is the Iodine test. Purchase 2% Iodine Tincture. The next morning after you shower, paint a one
& half inch square on the inside of your arm. Make sure it dries before you dress. Note the time. It should take 24 hours to completely
disappear. If it disappears sooner, your body may need iodine. The sooner it disappears, the more Iodine you need. This is not a diagnostic test,
but gives you an indication of Iodine absorption. This is not a diagnostic test, but it does look at the absorption time of Iodine. See
Iodine to
order a test kit.

Do the iodine test for a week. If your body indicates a need for Iodine, let us know how long it takes for the Iodine to disappear. Use the
us form.
NOTE:  DO NOT TAKE IODINE IF YOU ARE ALLERGIC TO IT.

                                       Iodine Rich Foods
Most Americans have an Iodine deficiency because we don't eat enough foods rich in Iodine. Some of the foods rich in Iodine are Dulce, Kelp,
Eggs, Fish oils, Fresh fish, Haddock, Hijike, Cod, Iodized salt, Sea foods, Sea kelp, Sea salt, Seaweed, Cheddar cheese, Cheese cake,
Condensed milk, Malt bread, Mayonnaise, Naan Bread, etc.

As you can see below, the Thyroid Gland is the Master Gland for the body and affects many other glands.
The interaction of these glands can cause the symptoms listed above for a Sluggish Thyroid.
